  Ask the Cabo Guy !

Getting married in a desert paradise like Cabo San Lucas is great - everyone you invite really wants to come! Cabo has become the preferred wedding spot in Mexico because of it's intimate romanticism, surrounding waters, fabulous weather and exotic beauty.

Make your new memories beside swaying palm trees on the beach, overlooking soaring mountain backdrops or on a yacht with clear blue skies and azure blue waters.

Caboguy.com has established an executive relationship with Sunset Weddings which has many years arranging weddings in Cabo and can accomodate virtually any special request, nothing will surprise them! Timing is critical - details, details, details. are foremost when your lifetime experience is happening. Any budget can be accomodated; however, keep in mind that Cabo is a tourist town and costs can be held in check through careful planning and communication.

The date, venue, time of the ceremony, selecting the music, arranging the officials for the service, the photographer, and the reception are all on the "to-do" list. Fulfilling your special day is what we do every step of the way with the bride.

After all, "We supply everything but the Groom".

GETTING MARRIED IN MEXICO: Some important information when planning your Cabo wedding:

The Civil Wedding is performed by a Mexican judge (translation is provided) and changes your marital status from single to married; this marriage is recognized as legal throughout the world. Your licenses and paperwork are done here and you receive your marriage certificate immediately following the ceremony. The judge is available only at specific times throughout each week, thus it is important that we schedule your service well in advance. The ceremony takes about 10 minutes depending upon your desire for music, participation by friends, etc.

It is important to have your personal documents in order – copies of Birth Certificates, copies of your lab work, copies of your tourist Visa which you complete upon entering Mexico, a Divorcee Decree of at least one year prior to your wedding date (this is Mexican law, no exceptions).

Wedding dresses and tuxedos should be brought with you (shorts and flip-flops are plentiful).

Weather in Cabo is usually quite predictable – beautiful, just like the Bride!  We have back-up plans in case Mother Nature decides to pay an uninvited visit. Evenings can be a little cool so a light shawl or covering should be brought.
